No. 1 - Life’s A Beach At Rossbeigh Strand 
On those long hot Summer days nowhere can the beauty of the Kerry coastline be seen more so than on the strands of nearby Rossbeigh Beach which is popular for all kinds of family fun including swimming, windsurfing, horse-trekking, sea-fishing and more.

A 40-minute drive from the Castlerosse Park Resort, this long sandy blue-flag beach on the Ring of Kerry offers the perfect day by the seaside.

Located just two miles outside of Glenbeigh Village, the beach’s location is just a short drive from many dining options and also provides ample parking as well as a popular children’s playground.

No. 2 - Giddy Up With Killarney Riding Stables
The Castlerosse Park Resort’s location within the centre of the Killarney National Park offers the perfect Pony Trekking route through some of Killarney’s most picturesque scenery.

The Killarney Riding Stables is situated just a short one-minute drive from the Resort and includes safe access right across from the stables through to the park. Operating daily trekking and trails of up to one, two or three hours long, the trail focuses on experiencing stunning views of the Knockreer Estate including the mountains, lakes, flora and fauna.

All levels of experience are catered for and pick-ups can be arranged direct from the Resort.

 

No. 3 - Explore The Lakes Of Killarney With A Family Lake Cruise
One of the top attractions in Killarney is undoubtedly the breath-taking beauty of the Lakes of Killarney and its renowned Lake Cruise Tour which runs daily, offering the ideal way to take in some of Killarney’s favourite hotspots by water.

Cruise past Innisfallen Island and learn about the ruins of a 6th Century Monastery, learn about the battles that were won and lost at the stronghold of Ross Castle and if you’re really lucky, spot some of the Park’s unique wildlife including the White-Tailed Eagle.
