You'll find us just a short 2km drive from Killarney town centre, right at the start of the Ring of Kerry. With direct access to scenic walking and cycling trails, the beauty of the National Park begins right on our doorstep.

Yes. One of the unique benefits of staying at Castlerosse Park Resort is our location. Guests can enjoy a scenic walk or cycle into Killarney town through Killarney National Park, avoiding busy roads and taking in beautiful lake and mountain views along the way.

Is Bike Hire Available?

Bike hire is available on-site, providing the perfect way to explore all Killarney has to offer. Our Bike Shop, located at the Castlerosse Leisure Club, offers a variety of options including child seats, tag-alongs and two-seater buggies. All bikes are supplied with a helmet and lock for your convenience.

What Dining Options Are Available?

Castlerosse Park Resort offers two dining experiences:

  • Grosvenor Restaurant – our fine dining option where our Head Chef and his dedicated team will spoil guests with the freshest of seafood and joints of Roast Kerry Lamb amongst others, all prepared and cooked to perfection using the finest of Irish produce and ingredients.
  • Mulligan's Pub & Lakeview - vibrant and relaxing décor and a mouth-watering menu, Mulligans promises a unique and memorable experience. Whether it’s a quiet drink by the bar, a leisurely lunch overlooking the mountains or a coffee over a read of the morning paper, the options are endless.

Guests can enjoy local produce and panoramic views across the National Park while dining.

Is Castlerosse Open All Year Round?

Castlerosse Leisure Club and our Self-Catering Accommodation operate year-round. The hotel operates seasonally and typically closes during the winter months from November until mid-March.

Is Castlerosse Suitable for Golf Breaks?

Yes. Our resort features its own 9 Hole Golf Club, Par 36 Parkland course with stunning views over the lakes and the surrounding mountains. Making it one of the most scenic golf experiences in Killarney.

Are Pets Allowed?

Pets, with the exception of service animals, are not permitted in the main hotel area and bedrooms. However, we have two self-catering holiday homes which are Dog friendly. Guests are required to notify us directly when booking if travelling with a Dog. Castlerosse Park Resort is currently unable to accommodate any other animals.

What Are the Check-In and Check-Out Times?

Check-in is from 3pm for guests staying in the hotel and from 4pm for those staying in our Self-Catering Accommodation. Check-out for the hotel is 12pm and 10am for self-catering. Guests also have the option to add a late check out time to their stay at an additional cost.
