Castlerosse Park Resort, Covid-19 Guest Information

We at the Castlerosse Park Resort are committed to the HEALTH AND SAFETY of our guests and workforce. At the same time, we are committed to providing a WELCOMING, RELAXED AND ENJOYABLE STAY to our guests who have chosen to stay with us. 

As we move through each phase in easing restrictions, we will follow, implement and review best practices from the Government and Health Authorities. We are committed to playing our part to try to prevent the spread of Covid-19. We are asking all our guests to do likewise and follow all guidelines and protocols. 

Please see below the steps that we are taking to ensure your safety and that of our team.

Overall Plan: 

  • We have a Covid-19 Response Team in place, who will be visible throughout the hotel, to address day-to-day queries from our guests and staff members to ensure that appropriate communication and coordination takes place to swiftly implement government and HSE recommended best practice. 
  • We have increased hygiene standards, hand-washing and sanitation frequency for all staff members.

  • We have dedicated areas of the Hotel exclusive to residents ensuring priority service and enhanced space. 

Reception / Front Desk: 

  • There are divider screens and social distancing measures in place at the front desk in line with best practice. 
  • Our Front of House Team will have a stock of disposable disinfectant wipes to disinfect surfaces between guests and all other touch points including guest pens, room keys and cards. 
  • Markings in the lobby will indicate correct measures for social distancing. 
  • Your check-in process will remain as contactless as possible, with credit card pin pads sanitised after use. 
  • We offer the option of express and contactless check out for all bookings prepaid on line. 

Public Areas:

  • Hand sanitisers and tissues will be positioned at entry and exit points and at multiple locations throughout the hotel.
  • Frequent sanitisation with hospital grade disinfectant is taking place of all publicly used surfaces, particularly focusing on any touch points such as stairwells, front desk, handrails, elevators, doorways, pool area and laundry areas. 
  • Signage in restrooms will inform guests of good hand hygience, respiratory hygiene and cough etiquette. 

Guest Rooms: 

  • Thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all bedrooms is conducted prior to check-in using hospital grade cleaning products. 
  • We will implement a key tracing system to ensure that guest rooms haven't been accessed since being sanitised. 
  • A number of best practice measures are in place and staff are fully trained on required procedures. 
  • We have implemented procedures for sanitising in all guest bedrooms including all touch points such as remote controls, light switches, telephones, taps and handles.
  • We will limit the amount of guest literature in bedrooms to ensure we are adhering to strict cleaning and sanitising policies. 
  • We will introduce the option of a 'No Touch' housekeeping service, where guests can manage their bedroom themselves, but will receive fresh towels upon request. 
  • Bed linen is serviced externally through a reputable linen company who are governed by Covid-19 regulations.

Holiday Homes & Golf Lodges: 

  • Thorough cleaning and sanitisation of all self-catering houses will be conducted prior to check-in using hospital-grade cleaning products. 
  • A number of best practice measures are in place and staff are fully trained on required procedures. 
  • We have introduced more teams to service each house, where they will work in smaller groups giving greater attention to detail.
  • We have implemented procedures for sanitising all contents of the unit including all kitchen facilities and touch points such as remote controls, light switches, telephones, taps and door handles. 
  • We will limit the amount of guest literature to ensure we are adhering to strict cleaning and sanitising policies. 
  • Bed linen is serviced externally through a reputable linen company who are governed by Covid-19 regulations. 

Food & Beverage Areas: 

  • We will continue to work with HSE and Environmental Health Guidelines for food service in our restaurants and bar. 
  • We adhere fully with all food safety requirements and we are implementing the recommended spacing between seating and tables in public areas and restaurants and are restricting numbers to correspond with government recommendations. 
  • Menus and placemats have been modified for disposable single use where necessary. 
  • We will ask guests to stay seated during service. 

Leisure Club & GYM:
(Re-opening the Leisure facilities is dependant on the relevant phases of the Government roadmap)

  • Our Leisure team have been trained and will have a stock of disposable disinfectant wipes available to disinfect surfaces constantly after use and disinfect all touch points. 
  • Pool areas will be disinfected frequently and be power washed daily. 
  • Pool & GYM capacity will be monitored to ensure social distancing.
  • Guests will be encouraged to use their own bedrooms for changing but they can use the Leisure Club changing rooms by observing social distancing. 
  • Viewing chairs and seating will be removed from the pool area. 
  • GYM usage will be monitored with extra vigilance on disinfecting equipment.
