Day 1: Arrive and enjoy a welcome drink followed by evening entertainment at Mulligan's Pub
Day 2: Beara Peninsula Tour – Full day. Departing at 9.30am travel to the picturesque village of Glengarriff on Bantry Bay via Kenmare and the spectacular Healy mountain pass. Explore Glengarriff and start the guided tour of the amazing Beara Peninsula. Stop at lunch time at the quaint little fishing village of Castletownbere and continue around the Peninsula, steeped in myths and legends and rich in archaeological sites. Our knowledgeable tour guide will take you through scenic lakes cradled by gorgeous mountains and rugged coastline. Return to Killarney via Kenmare, Molls Gap and Ladies View.
Day 3: Killarney Highlights – Half day. Today from 10.30am for 3 hours, you will see more of Killarney’s natural beauty, starting with the Gap of Dunloe followed by visits to Aghadoe Ruins, Ross Castle, Muckross Gardens and Torc Waterfall. Afternoon free for shopping, relaxing or a jaunting car ride through the National Park.
Day 4: Dingle and Slea Head – Full day tour. The rugged landscape of the Dingle Peninsula is ranked among Europe’s most spectacular scenery. Made famous in the films Ryans Daughter and Far and Away, it combines wide stretches of sandy beaches and amazing views of the Atlantic Ocean. Scenic highlights are the views around Slea Head especially of the Blasket Islands, famous for the many great Irish writers it produced. The tour departs at 10.00am and returns at 4.30pm.
Day 5: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast up to 10.30am and later depart for home. |
Day 5: Optional Ring of Kerry – Full Day Tour For those who would like to stay an extra day at the Castlerosse and do the full Ring of Kerry tour, we can offer a special price of €65 per person sharing which also includes the additional nights stay on a Dinner Bed &Breakfast basis.
