Free tennis is provided at the Castlerosse's floodlit tennis court. Bring your own equipment or simply pay a refundable deposit for equipment and balls provided by the Hotel.

The famous riding stables run by the O'Sullivan family is located just a 10 minute walk from the Castlerosse Hotel. Treks through the splendid scenery of Killarney National Park are organised for one, two or three hours duration. Equipment is provided.

The location of the Castlerosse Hotel is perfect for cycling. Direct access to the National Park provides completely safe and scenically splendid routes. Bicycle hire costs €18 per day including helmet for adult or child.

Excursions are arranged by the Hotel to places of interest including Muckross House and Gardens, Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula.

Boat and fishing trips on the lakes and to Innisfallen Island are available from Ross Castle. Information is available at reception.

Walk through the National Park directly from the hotel to Killarney Cathedral, town centre and to the 14th century Ross Castle.
There is also a guided walk through to the National Park available free of charge to Castlerosse Hotel guests. This walk commences each Saturday at 10.30am from the town centre.
