Walkers Comfort and Safety
As walkers can sometimes encounter inclement weather, we recommend you bring rainwear and a small rucksack to carry water and other items.
The hotel provides a drying room for wet clothing and gear.
Good walking shoes and comfortable socks are recommended for low level walks. Boots are recommended for hill walks, for example Torc Mountain and the Kerry Way.
Times given are approximate walking times including a short break. Time should be added for other stops along the way. No doubt you will encounter many highlights where you will want to pause and enjoy the view.
The hotel will provide a packed lunch on request consisting of a sandwich of your choice, a piece of fruit, a chocolate bar and a bottle of water which costs €8.00.
Camera & Phone
Don't forget your camera, you will encounter many 'Kodak Moments' on your walk. Bringing your mobile phone is always a good idea in case of an emergency.

Health and Leisure Club
A rejuvenating swim, sauna or massage (by appointment) is exactly what you need following your walk. Our Health and Leisure Club provides all of those. You will have completed a healthy day and worked up an appetite for dinner.
